The JAG, Lee, Tribal, Von Dutch Factory Outlet is located at Km. 21 West Service Road, corner Sucat Road, Muntinlupa City, beside Zilog. It's near the Sucat Tollgates. They have big tarpaulin banners announcing 50% off on branded apparels. But they actually sell at 50-70% off.

Inside the air conditioned store, the racks are arranged according to type of apparel and brand. Sizes and colors are not all available but there are lots of selections to choose from. They do have fitting rooms and one can try 3 garments at one time. Cash and major credit cards are accepted.

World Food Expo 2011 (WOFEX)

The World Food Expo, dubbed as the “The Ultimate Food Show Experience”, started August 3 and will end today, August 6, 2011. The event is being held at both the SMX Convention Center and World Trade Center. I and a friend were able to visit the exhibition at the SMX Convention Center yesterday afternoon, just in time to watch the on-going culinary competitions (Pastry Category, Pasta - Student Division, and Barista Cup).  Most of the winning entries of different competitions were also displayed for the visitors.

This event brought together participants from the food and beverage industry, as well as from the health and wellness sectors. Booths were neatly lined-up showcasing their products and services. Seminars and free cooking demos are also part of the on-going activities. Aside from the numerous food tastings, there are also promotional giveaways and raffle prizes.

It is indeed an ultimate experience!

JOCKEY Factory Outlet

One of my all-time favorite factory outlets! Located in Jaka Plaza along Sucat Rd., Jockey Factory Outlet has been there for years, selling Jockey products at discounted prices.

Today, I passed by hoping there are new stocks available. Sure enough, they were opening boxes of Jockey items, aside from those already on display.

Guava Season

Just outside the National Statistics Office along East Avenue, there is a woman selling freshly picked native guavas from Bulacan. You can't miss her, she's right in front of the gate with her "bilao" of  guavas every afternoon until the guava season lasts. The guavas sell fast for Php35/kilo. Rich in Vitamins A and C, with higher anti-oxidant value than the large variety, the local guavas are good munch. I bought myself 1 kilo which brought back memories of grade school years when we used to trade writing papers for guavas with our classmates from the barrio, same best deal.
